Frequently Asked Questions

What types of yachts do you deliver?

We specialize in sailing yachts and catamarans between approximately 30 and 90 feet. This focus allows us to deliver with expertise, care, and precision.

Where do you operate?

We offer worldwide delivery services, including transatlantic crossings, European coastal deliveries, and longer offshore passages. Whether your yacht is in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, or beyond—we can help.

Who will deliver my yacht?

Deliveries are led by a Yachtmaster Ocean–certified skipper, supported by at least two experienced crew members. You’ll receive crew CVs in advance for your approval.

Can I join the delivery as crew?

Yes! Our “Mile Builder” program allows owners or aspiring sailors to join the crew, gain experience, and log valuable nautical miles.

How do I track my yacht during delivery?

We offer real-time Track & Trace, allowing you to follow your yacht’s location. Regular updates and a full delivery report are also provided.

How is the price calculated?

Every quote is custom-built based on distance, season, route complexity, and crew requirements. We provide full transparency, including a breakdown of estimated expenses.

What’s included in the delivery service?

  • Professional skipper and crew
  • Pre-departure inspection and preparation
  • 24/7 weather routing and technical support
  • Onboard provisioning
  • Logbook entries and post-delivery report
  • Optional interior protection on request

What if my plans change last minute?

We’re flexible. Last-minute changes are part of the job—we’ll work with you to adjust schedules and logistics as needed.

Is my yacht insured during delivery?

Yes. The yacht must be fully insured by the owner for the duration of the passage. We’re happy to coordinate with your insurer if needed.

How is payment made?

In order to schedule a delivery we require an initial deposit of 20% along with a signed contract. A further 40% of the estimated delivery fee plus an expenses budget is required 30 days before the proposed delivery date. The balance of the delivery plus any outstanding expenses is due immediately on completion of the delivery.

Are there additional costs for delays?

Additional delay days will be charged if for reasons outside of the skippers’ control the journey cannot continue. For example, if the vessel is not able to sail due to its condition or seaworthiness. We do not charge for delays caused by the weather.

Does my boat need to be ready for the delivery?

Your boat should be seaworthy and suitable for the intended voyage. Upon arrival the skipper will do a complete inspection of your boat. Any issues that will affect the departure will be addressed. All safety equipment should be on board and in date.
